Merville MATTHEWS was born in 1920 at 6 Thomas Street, Porthleven.
His parents were William J MATTHEWS & Ada Wilks RICHARDS.

Ada is probably Ada Wilks MATTHEWS nee RICHARDS – mother of Merville MATTHEWS.
Ada was born in 1894 and married in 1914.

I think that the sender of the card, “Aunt Annie” was Annie MATTHEWS (1887-1964)
the 7th of 8 children of John Henry MATTHEWS & Charlotte nee LAITY.
