Photographs that were taken during the 1920s and 1930s recording the childhood of Marjorie Jeanne SEAR (1923-2020) Many of these photographs were taken during family holidays/visits to Porthleven.
Ernest Oliver Sear (1892-1939) was a senior official with the Great Western Railways based at Paddington Station It is believed that he was the chief accountant at the station. There are some images of the family travelling first class to Cornwall with GWR.
The collection is currently somewhat disorganised, and contains both photographs and negatives. The images have not been seen for many years.
